United Victorious Over Force


The Bellingham United rally to fend off the visiting Olympic Force Saturday, December 16th at the Sportsplex. Bellingham surprised the home crowd with a marriage proposal from Riley Liddle to girlfriend at halftime. The United then treated the their fans to a win despite a late surge from the Force. Blazers Gift Home Crowd With Win


The Bellingham Blazers celebrate Christmas early by capturing a win from a familiar opponent Friday, December 8th at the Sportsplex. The visiting West Sound Warriors lead throughout the first and second periods but two goals from Blazers forward Tommy Stevens and a late goal in the third by Timothy Prexler sent the game into overtime. In the opening minute of the second overtime period Blazers defenseman Dane Halstead sealed the victory. Final score 4-3. Click here to view photos from the game.

United Outshine Stars at Home

The Bellingham United opened their 2017-18 Western Indoor Soccer League season with a win on the road against Olytown in November. They return home to host a thrilling match against the Tacoma Stars Saturday, December 2nd at the Sportsplex. The Stars lead the United for most of the night. Each time that Bellingham would tie Tacoma would regain the lead until the fourth quarter. United forward Nick Cashmere scored two of his three goals in the final minutes of the fourth to gain the lead and seal the victory for Bellingham. Final score; 9-7. Blazers Cooled by Icemen at Home


The Bellingham Blazers open up a three-game home series with a loss Friday, November 18th at the Sportsplex, to the visiting Lake Tahoe Icemen. United Soar Over Skyhawks


The Bellingham Untied were flying high in their first home exhibition match of the 2017-18 Western Indoor Soccer League season. The visiting Snohomish Skyhawks could not stop the whirlwind goal-scoring barrage that Bellingham put on display for their home crowd Saturday, November 4th at the Sportsplex. Blazers Lose in Overtime at Home


The Bellingham Blazers start their three-game home stand with a loss to the visiting Southern Oregon Spartans Friday, November 3rd at the Sportsplex. Despite controlling the game throughout the first and second periods the Blazers allow two goals late in the third, sending the match into sudden-death overtime. Blazers Win at Home


The Bellingham Blazers return home from a tough road trip to Nevada and get back in the win column with a victory over the visiting West Sound Warriors Saturday, October 28th at the Sportsplex. The action was furious with both teams trading goals. The Warriors took the lead heading into the third period however the Blazers would not back down, scoring three unanswered goals in the third. Blazers End Losing Skid


The Bellingham Blazers have put a win on the season with a victory over the West Sound Warriors Friday, October 13th at the Sportsplex. Bellingham blistered the net, scoring in each period. Eight different Blazers contributed goals including a hat-trick by forward Jamahl Eakett. Final score; 10-5. Blazers Continue Losing Streak


The Bellingham Blazers struggled to gain the upper hand Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th at the Sportsplex. The visiting Seattle Totems remain a thorn in Bellingham's side, keeping the Blazers out of the win column for four straight games. Blazers Fall Short at Home


The Bellingham Blazers lose their first two game of the 2017-0218 Western States Hockey League season to the Seattle Totems. In front of their home crowd for the first time this season the Blazers found net six times. Blazers forward Jamahl Eakett scored a hat trick in the effort. United Score 7 in Season Ending Match


The Bellingham United treated their loyal fan base with a shutout over the visiting Yakima United Sunday, July 30th at Civic Field. Bellingham finished the 2017 Evergreen Premier League season with a 10-2-2 record and 36 points, landing themselves just shy of the league champion title. The Seattle Stars clinched the top spot a day prior with a 4-0 route over the Vancouver Victory. The United will take a well earned break before starting indoor play in November. Final score; 7-0. Bellingham Tops Olympic at Home


The Bellingham United soundly defeated the visiting Olympic Force Sunday, July 23th at Civic Field and have setup next weekend's action as a must win for the United to become Evergreen Premier League Champions. With a victory next Sunday and a loss or draw by the Seattle Stars the Hammers will sit alone atop the league standings, earning themselves this year's title. Final score; 4-0. The Bellingham United are three points behind the Evergreen Premier Leagues leader Seattle Stars with a 3-0 victory Sunday, July 9th over the South Sound Football Club at Civic Field. Slam Defeat Admirals



The Bellingham Slam took on the Kitsap Admirals in The Crawsover Pro-Am Saturday, July 8th at the Royal Brougham Pavilion on the campus of Seattle Pacific University. Bellingham lead throughout the match-up, distancing themselves in the third quarter by outscoring Kitsap 39-19. Slam Guard Taylor Stafford lead all scoring with 38 points. United Tie Stars


The Bellingham United locked up with the Seattle Stars Sunday, July 2nd at Civic Field, and played to a draw. United Blank San Antonio


The Bellingham United played host to the visiting San Antonio Football Club Sunday, June 18th at Civic Field. The exhibition match turned into a shutout by the Hammers keeping San Antonio out of the net for 90 minutes while scoring five unanswered goals. United Eclipse Shadow




The Bellingham United grab their first home win of the Evergreen Premiere League 2017 campaign Sunday, June 4th. The visiting Spokane Shadow fell to a surging United squad who are looking to emerge from the middle of the pack in the EPLWA. WWU Alumni Beat Slam All-Stars


For the first time since the Back to Bellingham Battle began the Western Washington University Alumni Men's basketball team defeated the four-time International Basketball League Champion Bellingham Slam Saturday, May 20th at Wade King Student Recreation Center. The Vikings out scored the Slam through three quarters of play. Dominating the offensive and defensive glass with 65 total rebounds, nearly doubling Bellingham's 37 total rebounds. Despite a late scoring run by the Slam the Western Men held off Bellingham in their third annual match. Final score: 125-130. Click here to view photos from the game.

Artesians Defeat United at Home



Less the 24 hours from a road win in Yakima the Bellingham United fall short in their home match with the Oly Town Artesians Sunday, May 14th at Civic Field. Despite an aggressive second half the United could not find net as time expired giving Oly Town their first win the 2017 Evergreen Premier League Season. Final score 0-1. Victory Over United at Home Opener


The Bellingham United loose their first home match against the defending Evergreen Premier League  Washington Champion Vancouver Victory, Saturday, April 30th at Civic Field. The Victory scored early and kept the United from establishing any rhythm as Vancouver cruised to a three goal lead at the end of the first half. Blazers Playoff Bound

 The Bellingham Blazers are heading to the playoffs in their inaugural Western States Hockey League season. The Blazers split the weekend series with Seattle wining two games to one. Bellingham's defeat of the Seattle Totems Saturday night punched their ticket to the post season. The Blazers will head to Butte, Mont. to face the Cobras in a best of three match. The Bellingham United clinched their second Western Indoor Soccer League championship with a repeat match against the visiting Olympic Force Saturday, February 26th at the Sportsplex. Olympic gave Bellingham troubles throughout the first half and into the third quarter, staying within a goal of tying. Blazers Swept at Home by Cobras


The Bellingham Blazers suffered a three-game home loss to the Butte Cobras this weekend at the Sportsplex. Bellingham struggled to find a rhythm offensively and could not find an answer defensively to the Butte attack. United Advance to Championship


The Bellingham United took to the pitch Saturday, February 18th at the Sportsplex and thoroughly defeated the visiting Snohomish Skyhawks 12-5. Bellingham finished the regular season with a 8-2-0 record and are heavily favored to win their upcoming rematch with the Olympic Force. The Force, defeating Oly Town in their semi-finals match, finished the regular season with a 6-4-0 record. United Victorious Over Sporting



The Bellingham United wrapped up the 2016-17 Western Indoor Soccer League regular season with a win over the visiting Sporting Everett Football Club Saturday, February 11th at the Sportsplex. With the win Bellingham finishes the regular season with an 8-2 record and advances to the semi-final round of the playoffs. Monsters Mash Blazers


The Bellingham Blazers split a three-game home stand, 1-2, with the visiting Fresno Monsters of the Western Division in a Interdivision Western States Hockey League matchup. Bellingham sits at the bottom of the Northwest Division with only eight games left in the regular season. The Blazers need to win all eight in order to secure a spot in the divisional playoff. Blazers Snap 17-game Losing Skid


The Bellingham Blazers are back on the winning side as they snap a 17-game losing slide. The Blazers spent the weekend battling the Seattle Totems, losing their first of three matches 3-4. Bellingham turned it around Saturday at Seattle winning 5-3 and continued their streak Sunday at home by beating the Totems 7-2. The Bellingham United Football Club pounded the visiting Snohomish Skyhawks Saturday, January 7th at the Sportsplex. The United scored at will, overwhelming the visiting Skyhawks throughout the match. Bellingham's Richard Henderson recorded six goals of his own in the win. Final score: 10-4. Hockey Late Night


The Western Washington University Vikings took to the ice Friday, January 6th at the Sportsplex, to square off against the University of Washington Huskies.
