The Bellingham Blazers lose a heartbreaking game in overtime to the visiting Rock Springs Prospectors Friday, October 28th at the Sportsplex. Bellingham lead after the first period 2-0 but Rock Springs climbed back in the second scoring once and then again in the third to tie 2-2. The Blazers jumped ahead again only to be equaled by the Prospectors to tie the game at the end of regulation. Rock Springs closed the match 2 minutes and 18 seconds into overtime, winning 3-4.
