While I seek to find a viable replacement I will be using a work around for those who wish to view and purchase photos from the sporting events I cover. The Bellingham United's contest with the Seattle Stars ended in a tie Saturday, June 8th on Orca Filed at Whatcom Community College. The Hammers struggled with Stars throughout the match, surrendering a goal in the first half. But a fortunate bounce of the ball resulted in an own goal giving Bellingham an equalizing score as time expired in the second half. Final score 1-1. Click here to view photos from the game.
The Bellingham United kicked off their 2019 Evergreen Premier League campaign with a victory over the Oly-Town Artesians Sunday, May 5th at Civic Field. On the leg of Olegario Gallo Orozco the United scored a last minute goal to secure the win. The United look to improve upon last seasons disappointing first-round playoff loss and are poised to make the playoffs once again. Final score 2-1. Click here to view photos from the game.
The Bellingham Blazers took two wins at home in the first round of the Western State Hockey League Northwest division playoff. The Southern Oregon Spartans traveled to the Sportsplex for a best of three game series but where unable to keep up with the Blazers and drop two straight game to the home squad.
